Jay-Z - ‘Wonderwall’ & ‘99 Problems (w/’Back in Black’ instrumental)’ from Glastonbury
In light of all of the ridiculous things said by Noel Gallagher about Hovie’s haedlining of the Glastonbury Pyramid stage, Jay started his set by doing a little bit of one of Oasis’ biggest songs (how weird is it to see him with a guitar strapped on btw?) and then goes into his own hit in ‘99 Problems’.
It’s fun to see Jay-Z trying to work to win a crowd over, rather than just having them in the palm of his hand from the get-go.
As of now these two songs are the only ones available on video since BBC streams are reserved only for those in the UK, but I’m sure eventually the whole thing will be put online.

So that’s what’s next eh? ‘The Back in Black Album’ get on it DangerMouse!!!

This performance wasn’t truly “amazing” to me, except for the fact that Jay-Z apparently cloned Gary Coleman to play guitar and bass

Syzlak: if there was a show, "so you think you can act" "politik" "read" "host" "etc." i'd be ok with it. i don't hate idol even though i don't watch idol. that's because of a long standing boycott that apparently should be removed (this year actually had musicians!!)

Syzlak: the only dancing that i've experience live and felt ok paying for was ballet ...and...well...

I can’t stop watching this. I danced for a lot of my life (up until mid-late college), and really miss it. Watching this makes me really happy and sad at the same time because I want to go back to it. It doesn’t start in the video until about 2:30, it ends at 4:30 and the best part starts at about 3:50 and goes to the end. I love the way Chelsie moves after he takes her heart it just makes me want to jump up and move with her. I love this show. Lee doesn’t, especially when I watch all day marathons of it.

This video and the ensuing raves about said video are exactly why this is one of the worst shows on television. This wasn’t hip-hop dancing nor was this a one scene play, but it tried to be both. Why? Lord why?

When will Notre Dame realize just because they were good years and years ago, they aren’t special nor good anymore??!?!?
They may be my most hated sports team. Them, the University of Miami (FL), and WVU all wrestle for the top spot.
i can’t stand notre dame. they’re only popular because of their heritage & religiously dedicated religious demographic. nobody really wants to watch them play now, they only want to remember how they played years ago.

Ok, I know that it’s gotten to the point now where everyone hates ND. I’m not exactly sure why though. They aren’t automatically ranked every season like they used to be. They can’t pull the best recruits each year like they used to. They aren’t consistently good. They aren’t consistently bad. They celebrate the diversity of fat people by having Weis as coach. Their resistence to BCS conferences (or any conference for that matter) keeps them from getting into BCS bowls unless they have a phenomenal year. When they’re competitive people get to watch their team beat ND.

While I do think that it’s ridiculous that NBC continues to be the exclusive carrier of ND football, it’s not because of a hatred toward the program or the belief that ND football is boring. I think it’s silly for ND to still be unaffiliated. However, I think it’s brilliant for NBC.

NBC airs ND football because it is college football. Each season ND plays the following teams: USC, Michigan, Michigan St., Purdue, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Stanford and Navy. That means that every year ND faces the Pac-10, Big-10, Big East and ACC. While they don’t play every major conference, they do hit 4 of the 6 each year (incidentally they play the Mountain West this year as well). That means that NBC reaches viewers from 4 of the 6 major conferences every year. This is fantastic for advertisers, which in turn is fantastic for NBC.

In addition, as a fan, NBC has allowed you to see 4 of the 6 conferences each season, providing you the opportunity to see what the season looks like outside of your regionally broadcasted teams. On a personal level, I live in Portland, OR (go Ducks) and thus have to watch Pac-10 football even though I’m an Big-10 football fan. If not Pac-10, then it’s Mountain West or Big-12. That’s fine. However, ND plays the Big-10, they’re playing in the afternoon on national television and I can see just how badly Michigan is going to suck each and every year.

This is getting a little long winded…hell I even forgot what I’m arguing here…

Seems some resourceful people found a loophole in the system. Apparently, you can get a 10-35% cash back reward for all buy-it-now eBay purchases if you access the eBay listing through Live Search. So, people are simply selling cash and arbitraging the cash back reward. Your move, Ballmer.
