It's the little things, really...
You know how no one really eats the crusts of a loaf of bread? I sure don’t. And just today, 3 days before my 26th birthday, I’ve realized that instead of lifting up the crust piece to get to proper slices everytime I go to eat bread, I could simply just throw away the crust when I open a new loaf. Never considered than an option before. Changes everything.
I read this probably 10 times because I couldn’t understand 4 things.
- whether she eats or doesn’t eat the crust - the first 2 sentences makes it sound like she’s baffled by this practice. then she sounds as though she’s a fan
- why anyone wouldn’t eat the best part of the loaf
- why anyone would be so wasteful
- whether she meant to say heel instead of crust
